Every year our Salisbury students head over to compete in the Devizes Festival of Music and Drama which is held in Devizes in October each year. This year the highly respected adjudicator had taught at Laines and GSA. He really knew his Musical Theatre! We were delighted that the Starcast Performance Troupe were awarded a Distinction, The Starcast Angels a Highly Commended and our Singing Company a First Place and Distinction.
Singing is such an important part of the training we give students at our Stage School. Our Music Teachers train our students to be confident singers from the age of four and generally start teaching simple singing technique from the age of eight or nine. Singing is a joy for the soul and is something you can partake in your whole life.
